George E. Bogden

Dr. George E. Bogden is Senior Counsel for Trade at Continental Strategy, specializing in cross-border policy. He previously served as Executive Director of the Office of Trade Relations at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, where he was the agency’s primary liaison to the international trade community.

Before joining Continental Strategy, Dr. Bogden clerked at the U.S. Court of International Trade and practiced at the Washington, DC offices of two globally-recognized law firms, advising on antidumping and countervailing duty investigations, export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, international arbitration, and other complex commercial matters.

A writer and commentator, his analysis has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, War on the Rocks, Lawfare, and The National Interest. Dr. Bogden is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a David Rockefeller Fellow of the Trilateral Commission. He holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law, an M.Phil. and D.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Oxford, and a B.A. from Yale University.

Nathan Kiker

Nathan Kiker is a Democratic political consultant based in Washington, DC. He began his career working for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign. Over the past decade, he served in senior roles for numerous political campaigns across the country.

He played a key role in the elections of Governor Ralph Northam, Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano. He also worked as a finance consultant for House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and worked for Governor Steve Bullock’s Presidential Campaign. He has also managed numerous state and local campaigns in Virginia. He earned his BA from Vanderbilt University where he was a Research Fellow for the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions.
